North Carolina

My dog is enjoying a bone at the rental house down here in North Carolina. Our anual trip to the Outer Banks is so worth the long, 12+ hour ride.

Beautiful sunset view from our rental! Right smack on the water.

We took a visit to the light house, just like every year. Awesome as usual!
The trip was awesome, and i can not wait until we go again next time!!!!!!!!
:)

Hi

I got back from El Salvador about 2 weeks ago. It was amazing and totally eye opening to how much I have. People there are living in extreme poverty and its totally heart braking to see people who have nothing, especially kids. Thanks to all of those who have supported my family through the process!

El Salvador Pictures

This is a picture of the all boys orphanage we visited one day, these are the beds. They sleep on plastic matresses with no comforter or pillows.

This is a pic of me teaching my dad and brother how to make balloon animals for the kids.

This guy LOVED giving hugs and he will tickel you non stop! He was very fun to hang out with.

This is arts and craft time with the kids! (the little girl who's back is facing you ca,e on the trip with us!)
This is my family and I at a volcano we visited!
This is the private beach that I had. The water was 85 degrees and it had black, volcanic sand! It was awesome!

My family and I at my private beach!!!
(The rest of the photos are explained at the bottom.)

Most of the house pics are houses with 6 or more family members in it. Alot of houses had up to 3 generations of family. The picture with me and the little boy, his name is Jose. He was my little buddy and it was hard leaving him there. The picture of the very big family was one of the many that we visited who were extreemly poor and had alot to take care of, so we gave them a large bag of food that will feed them for a while.
The other picture with the lady standing infront of the group of guys was a picture of a friend Crystella, who sang a song for them, which they loved! We also found the CUTEST little puppies! They were soooooooo adorable. Also, the picture of all of the people in the back of the truck was one of the two nights when we fed the homeless. That was one of the most eye opening experiances i have ever taken part in. What was sad was that we made 150 sandwichs and put one in each bag with an apple, a bag of chips and a juice box, and every time we ran out and didnt have enough to feed all of the homeless. The most terrible part about that was seeing kids who were 5, 6, and 7, running to the truck for a bag of food. It makes you realize how luckey you are.

Smile!

The thing that goes the farthest
towards making life worth while
That costs the least and does the
most is just a pleasant smile...
The smile that bubbles from a heart
that loves its fellow men,
will drive away the clouds of gloom
and coax the sun again
Its full of warmth and goodness too
with genial kindness blent,
its worth a million dollars but it
doesnt cost a cent
